Lektor 30 Anniversary

CD players are the most popular Ancient Audio products. During 30 years, company manufactured around 100 pieces. CD players were build-up company reputation.

So, to celebrate 30 years of company activity in Hi-End, we decided to create new CD player, more affordable for music lovers.

Device is basing on award-winning Lektor Joy, company flagship, honored for it's exceptionally sound. Hence the Lektor 30 Anniversary, a more accessible player, but maintaining the character of a reference model. Extra inputs were omnited, as well as expencive full metal cabinet. It uses one power transformer, same CD drive, same DAC chip, in stereo mode, same analog preamplifier/output stage. Also, CD control module with display and keyboard is same as Lektor Joy.

The cabinet is made from aluminium and hard tempered mineral glass. This sandwich build has high stifness, and high vibrations damping. And if treated properly, it will retain its beauty for decades.

CD record is reading by famous metal mechanism, CD-Pro8, made in Austria. It has stable metal base, and excellent sound. It is controlled by dedicated software, developed by Ancient Audio.

The complete CD player (mechanism, display, keyboard, DAC) is clocked with one precise signal,16.9344 MHz. This eliminates jitter, the bane of digital music transmission

As previous CD players, Lektor 30 has possibility to install Digital Speaker Processor, to compensate imperfections of speakers or headphones.

So, Lektor 30 Anniversary is very similar to flagship Lektor Joy, giving excellent sound, but much more affordable for broad audience.
