Synergy is unique, non compromise floorstanding speaker system

Speaker system is a final device in audio system chain. It has incredible influence to all aspects of music reproduction. Really, it is complex mechanical and electronic system, consisting of speaker drivers, cabinet, crossover. Finally, you can listen a match of these components, not just drivers or cabinet. To got the best result, it is necessarry perfect synergy of all ingredients. It gave name for speakers.

From one side, Synergy are classic, two way, floorstanding speaker system. It uses classic paper midwoofer, and soft fabric tweeter.

From the other side, speaker system has unique, modern glass cabinet. Tempered glass is very hard, very stiff, scratch resistant, heavy. It is perfect material to build non-resonant, stiff, heavy, stable enclusure. There are only two problems: how to connect walls, and how to remove high tone resonances. Because glass has very low vibration looses – it is used to build glass harmonica. So, internal building is very complex, needs sandwich from different materials. We gathered a big experience, making excellent CD players and amplifiers from glass and aluminium. Finally, cabinet of Synergy is one, stiff, heavy, stable base for drivers.

Glass is also beautiful, enjoying perfect mirror surface for centuries. It is easier to keep clean, than any other high gloss solution.

To match two different drivers, and enclosure, complex crossover is necessarry. Of course, it was the longests developing part was crossover. This is final tool not only to divide electric current into two different drivers, but also to final tunning complete system, in time and amplitude. This is why crossover is co complex, it consisting of 12 components: low resistance inductors, resistors, high quality polypropylene capacitors. Final tuning of speakers consumed over year of intensive listening tests.

So, final Synergy is and excellent speaker system, playing with huge bass, fast attack , neutral tone balance, detailed but homogenical high tones. And , traditionally to Ancient Audio, Synergy has peferct space reproduction, as instruments focusing, deep and wide soundstage.

It can be easy driving by both transistor and tube amplifiers. Due to fast and natural sound, almost every amplifier can move them to dance.

Due to stiff and heavy cabinet, Synergy has very big sound, not matching to speakers size. Also, speakers deliver very energetic, full bass, needed to carefull control in small rooms by acoustic or electronic way. In case of more difficult conditions, we suggest to support by Digital Speaker Processor.
